Real Estate Assessment

It has been almost twenty-one (21) years since a revaluation was completed in the Borough of Milford, New Jersey. Real estate taxation law mandates that all real estate be assessed at 100% of market value, and there must be equalization among assessments.  The goal of the revaluation program is to update all assessments to fair market value. To achieve this goal, all pertinent information must be accurately collected.

County Route 627 - Holland Township & Milford Borough

Date Posted: July 18, 2025

Construction Notification: Elizabethtown Gas has notified Milford Borough that their qualified contractor, Penn Bower, will be installing a new natural gas main extension to bring safe, reliable, and affordable natural gas service to the community.

Construction Dates: July 23 – approximately August 4, 2025

Work Hours: 7:00 am – 5:30 pm (Monday through Friday)

Penn Bower will begin the work at the cul-de-sac of Fairview Avenue towards Hillcrest Drive. The work will then continue from furthest point in the neighborhood in from the side streets and then working the main loop (Hillcrest Drive) and Stover Avenue towards Milford Mt. Pleasant Road. Police presence will be onsite to help with traffic control as required. Elizabethtown Gas and the borough’s engineer, French & Parello Associates, will also be onsite daily to monitor and assist with safety and progress efforts.

Due to the narrowness of the streets, Penn Bower will be working within limits of up to 500 feet per day. Road closures with minor detours out of the neighborhood will be in place and No Parking cones will be put out for direct areas of impact. Residents within the impacted area will be asked to plan ahead as vehicles will be requested to be moved and parked outside the work zone for the day. Penn Bower will have roadway plates for vehicular access to the residents affected, with emergency vehicles allowed access at all times including but not limited to garbage and recycling pickup.

Please note the construction schedule is subject to weather and digging conditions.

Penn Bower will be staging equipment and materials on the cul-de-sac of Fairview Avenue along the curb line with caution tape and cones.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the ETG Project Hotline at 866.767.5558 or email etgprojects@sjindustries.com. All inquiries will receive a response within one business day.
