Borough Clerk- Leigh Gronau

The Borough Clerk is the custodian of all minutes, ordinances, resolutions, contracts, deeds, and archival records of the municipality. The Town Clerk’s office issues pet, liquor, food, limo, raffle, marriage, special events, and banner request licenses; registers voters and provides general information to the public. The Municipal Clerk is the Registrar of Vital Statistics, and as such, issues marriage licenses. Any couple applying for a marriage or domestic partnership license must call the Clerk's office to make an appointment at 908-995-4323. The Registrar also provides certified copies of birth, and death certificates.

The Clerk also serves as Secretary to the Council, prepares meeting agendas, attends all meetings of the Council and documents the minutes of every meeting, and preserves all ordinances and resolutions.

Additionally, the office is responsible for Sewer and Water Billing & Collection of Funds

The Clerk is the Chief Elections Officer in all elections held in the Borough and the Chief Registrar of the Voters in the Borough of Milford.
